Show Description
Yusupha Ngum and The Affia Band – are a Melbourne-based famous multicultural band. For the past several years, Yusupha Ngum and The Affia Band have been working to create a space for the celebration of world music such as jazz fusion, folk music, ska, mbalax, rap, Afro-fusion music, culture and diversity in the Australian event scene and multicultural society, working largely on workshops and live performances. As part of the band My Mentor National Tour 2024, Yusupha Ngum and The Affia band will be performing at the North Australian Festival of the Arts (NAFA) in October 2024.

The event aims to promote greater regional partnership between the Band and regional community arts and culture, inclusivity and serve as an opportunity to support collaborative live performances. The main activities of the event will include a workshop and live band performance. We promise to deliver an immersive experience of culture, and sounds of world music such as jazz fusion, folk music, ska, mbalax, rap, and Afro-fusion music all in one place.
