Exhibition Description
Experience large-scale works and immersive installations that bring you inside the reef and be swept away by the large coral bommie sculpture Coral Garden I commissioned for the festival by Queensland Museum Tropics, North Australian Festival of Arts and Willows Shopping Centre.

Created by Lynette Griffiths and Marion Gaemers of Ghost Net Collective, the handwoven artworks throughout Coral Chronicles reimagine discarded commercial fishing nets and marine debris to tell a new story that inspires reflection on the amazing biodiversity and plight of the Great Barrier Reef and to discover the world-leading research happening in Townsville to conserve this natural wonder. No bookings necessary.
